Yes — itsvegan is a social network and online community made for vegans and the vegan-curious. You get a personal feed, communities, forums, private messages, events and a member map, alongside a worldwide vegan restaurant directory.

Is itsvegan free?

Yes. Creating an account, posting, messaging, joining communities and adding places are all free.

How do I find vegans near me?

Add your city to your profile. You’ll see vegans near you on the members page, local communities and upcoming events in your “Near you” box, and new vegan places in your area.

Can I make vegan friends or find a vegan partner here?

Making friends is what itsvegan is for: follow people, join a community and say hi in private messages. If you’re looking for love, there is also an optional, separate vegan dating section you can switch on.

Is there a vegan community app?

itsvegan works like an app on your phone: open itsvegan.org, choose “Add to Home Screen” and you get the app icon and notifications for messages and replies.

Is it a safe and kind space?

Yes. Everything follows our community guidelines — no hate, no shaming, no gatekeeping. Members can block and report, and moderators review every report.

I’m not vegan yet — can I join?

Absolutely. Newcomers and the vegan-curious are very welcome; there’s a forum just for new vegans where no question is too basic.
